The Rebel Alliance, also known as the Alliance for the Restoration of the Republic, was an organization formed to oppose the Galactic Empire and restore democracy to the galaxy.
Founded by Mon Mothma, Bail Organa, and other dissidents, the Alliance coordinated various resistance groups scattered across the galaxy.
Through guerrilla tactics, covert operations, and the support of numerous star systems, the Alliance waged military campaigns against Imperial forces.
Despite limited resources, their determination and clever strategy led to crucial victories, culminating in the Empire's defeat at the Battle of Endor.
