Born on November 15, 1891, he began his military career during World War I, distinguishing himself for his courage and tactical skills.
During World War II, Rommel became famous for his campaigns in North Africa leading the Afrika Korps, where he demonstrated innovative tactics and bold leadership.
Known for his ability to maneuver quickly and surprise his opponents, he has scored several notable victories despite often limited resources.
In 1944, involved in the plot against Hitler, Rommel was forced to commit suicide to avoid reprisals against his family.
