Description

American paratroopers in World War II were equipped with a variety of weapons firing .30-caliber ammunition, including the famous M1 Garand and the M1919 Browning machine gun.

The M1 Garand, powered by .30-06 Springfield cartridge clips, was the standard rifle of American paratroopers, offering great firepower and reliability in the field.

Browning M1919 light machine guns, also chambered in .30-06 Springfield, were used to provide mobile and effective fire support during parachute operations.

These weapons were essential for U.S. airborne infantry tactics during the war.
