The Long Range Desert Group (LRDG) was a renowned British reconnaissance and raiding unit during World War II, operating in the North African desert.
Their vehicles were essential to their operations, mostly heavily modified Chevrolet and Ford trucks.
These vehicles were equipped with additional fuel and water tanks, as well as mounted machine guns for defense.
The LRDG used its vehicles to conduct in-depth reconnaissance missions, gather intelligence, and conduct raids behind enemy lines.
Their distinctive vehicles and expertise in the desert played a crucial role in the Allied campaigns in North Africa against the Axis forces.
