Description

The WACO (CG-4A) was a military glider designed for the transport of troops and equipment.

Made of wood and canvas, it was towed by an aircraft and could carry up to 13 equipped soldiers or an equivalent payload.

Used primarily for airborne landing operations, it was silent and stealthy, allowing for strategic deployments behind enemy lines.

The WACO glider played a crucial role during the invasions of Normandy and other World War II operations, facilitating surprise assaults and reconnaissance operations.
